Join the 25th Ward Independent Political Organization
The 25th Ward IPO is a volunteer-run, member-driven anti-capitalist independent political organization. The direction of our work together is determined by our organization’s general body. Our 50+ members are engaged in a broad range of causes in the 25th Ward and across Chicago, including these and related issues:
Housing Justice — Fighting for affordable and public housing
Education Justice — Electing Local School Council members and supporting neighborhood schools
Electoral — Running and electing candidates to public office
Supporting Local Movements, Organizing & More!
Regardless of how much experience or knowledge you have in organizing, you are welcome to be a part of our movement for a ward that works for all of us. From canvassing to direct action, community outreach to graphic design, there is a place for your interests and skills in the 25th Ward IPO.

1. Member Dues
100% of membership dues go toward things like printing canvassing materials, neighborhood mutual aid efforts and event supplies. We operate on a pay-what-you-can model. If you’re unable to pay suggested dues but want to join, no problem at all — just send us an email to let us know.
